OUR STRATEGY

Community and Social Engagement, Collaboration, Networking, and Inclusion is our strategy (ECNI). With these tools, MGSN aspire to reach out to its target audience within Greater Manchester and beyond.

COLLABORATION

As a registered charity and from the start, we have been providing services to Greater Manchester residents through our humanitarian work.

To make a positive impact, the Network provides such community services through social engagement and collaboration taking onboard the participation of our partners, networks, sponsors, sister organisations and communities both within and outside Manchester.

Doing this, the Network hope to foster communication, build trust and relationships with a wider network of charities, community and neighbourhood organisations with the desire to encourage an all-inclusive policy that will embrace and cut across social, economic and cultural barriers.

NETWORKING

Every day the world is changing in terms of technology and relationships. Networking in the not-for-profit or charity sector is not just to boost careers but to help charities nurture a strong sense of purpose to access resources and funding.

Manchester Gambia Support Network is cognisant of this and therefore have it as a strategy to connect and collaborate with industry leaders to inspire and encourage growth through social networking.

INCLUSION

As part of its inclusion strategy, Manchester Gambia Support Network endeavours to be part of the wider network of organisations promoting equal opportunities. The Network belief, that this will encourage and help the community harness productively from
its diversity.

It is aware of many people in our community with socio-economic and cultural barriers and those suffering from digital exclusion and learning disabilities. Manchester Gambia Support Network have an inclusive policy to continuously grow and expand its programs to reach out to all levels of our society.

ENGAGEMENT

The Network started in 2014 before its registration as a charity. As a charity, it has been working in our community and has the expertise to bring people from different national, ethnic, cultural and diverse backgrounds together for the common good.

The Network realises the importance in community and social engagement connecting people and sharing with them a common cause. It was always at the centre of the Network’s operational plans, that being a charity with community and social engagement in mind can only go to promote UK government’s agenda of community and social integration.
