NURTURING OUR YOUNG PEOPLE

As part of its policy to network, MGSN collaborated and engaged with the community. In September/October 2020 we secured a six months funding project worth £9,978 from the National Lottery Community Fund as Covid-19 response scheme.

The project was successfully implemented. The Network conducted an online training programme for young people living in the community through career planning or mapping. Doing this, the Network hoped will help nurture the demographic dividends in our community as result build a strong community profile. Laptops were provided for children whose families could not afford one. Smartphone, Desktop, Tablet or an iPad with a running internet service were also provided.
